Different Ways to Increase Gaming Performance On Laptop

Laptop are just thought to be use for professional work like creating powerpoint slides, excel sheets etc, whereas desktops are meant to be used for playing games rather than just for professional work. We can easily upgrade the hardware of desktop, but we can not upgrade the laptop hardware easily. So, if you really want to play your favourite game on your laptop without any hassle, you need to follow the below mention tips so as to get maximum from your laptop:

1. Clean & Dust Free Laptop: The first and the foremost thing is to keep your laptop and it's surroundings clean and dust free. Dust reduces the airflow and makes laptop processor hot which result in slow processing of heavy games. Regular cleaning keyboard keys helps them to keep smooth and also you can open it remove any dust or dirt.

2. Update Drivers: Games require regular updation of drivers to work effectively with the hardware and make overall process smooth. If you did not update drivers regularly, it may result in slow speed and hang at some point of time.

3. Latest DirectX Version: DirectX makes run graphics in a video game run in normal way and latest version of it should be present in the laptop so that you can get maximum from your laptop. To check your DirectX version, press WIN + R and enter dxdiag. Wait for Directx Diagnostic Tool to launch and then in Driver pane, look for Direct3D DDI.

4. Overclock GPU: Overclocking force additional performance out of the graphic card. It uses more electricity and increases the heat of GPU. So, regular cleaning of heatsinks and fans must be done to avoid automatic shut down of laptop.

5. Close Background Applications: Running several application simultaneously takes lot of memory and thus put a load on it. While playing games, these extra running programs should be closed and it will help you to get a better performance in playing your favourite game.

6. Adjust Power Settings: You can adjust your power settings to get effective results while playing games. You can set your laptop power setting to high performance and get a good gaming experience. In Windows 10, open Settings>System>Power and Sleep> Addotional power settings and select High performance option.

So, by adopting the above mentioned tips, you can easily get the best performance to play any game in laptop without spending much money on harware replacement or buying a new one.
