Different Steps To Keep Your Computer Cool

While a computer runs continuously for several hours, it becomes hot. The constant high temperature can cause serious damage to your computer. Some of the steps that can keep your computer cool:

1. Check if fans are running: The first step that you need to do is open the computer case and check if fans are running or not. If at least one fan is not working, replace or repair the damaged fan.
2. Clean Your Computer: It is advised to regularly clean the cooling fan or other parts of computer. The attached fan is used for cooling of fan. Sometime, dust and dirt can occur in fans. The dust can slow down or stop fan from working.

How to Clean Your Cooling Fan:

1. Shut down your computer.
2. Open the computer case.
3. If there is excessive dirt, take out computer fan.
4. Use compressed air, duster or damp cloth in cleaning the fan.
5. If moisten cloth is use, make sure cooling fan is dry before connecting it again.

Clean other computer parts like mouse, monitor, keyboard.

Turn off machine, before cleaning any hardware component. Otherwise, your computer is prone to electronic discharge.

Do not spray or spill any liquid directly in computer parts.

Move your computer to a cooler and cleaner environment.

To prevent your computer from overheating, it should be placed in air-conditioned room.

Consider installing a component specific fan, so as to overcome over heating problem.

Unplug external hardware like printers or scanners that are of no use.

Overheating destroys or shorten the lifespan of your computer. The major benefit of keeping your fan cool is that it can help you avoid unnecessary repair or upgrade.

36.5 mn Android Users Caught By “Judy” Virus

A malware called ‘Judy’ has might been broke out and is might infecting millions of smartphones globally. According to security solution firm, the “Judy” malware uses infected devices to generate large amount of fraud clicks on advertisements, generating revenues for prepetrators behind it.

The auto-clicking adware was found on 41 apps developed by Korean Company. Though, it was not clear which countries have been infected of this “judy” virus. 

  
Many of the apps that are found to be infected by ‘Judy’ malware were found to reside on Google Play store for several years and were recently updated. It is unclear how long the malicious code exists inside the apps and hence the actual spread reason remain unknown. After the malware was identified, the apps were removed from Play Store.

Earlier, the ransomware called WannaCry wrecked hitting systems including Russia and UK.

The virus had infected computer running older version of Operating System like XP, locking access to files on computer. According to the Government report, Asian country was worst hit nations by WannaCry.
