Adobe Flash Support Will End Till 2020

Adobe Flash used to run several features including video streaming has finally announced to end by Adobe. Flash was never supported by Apple in iOS as it may lead to reduction in web traffic in websites.

Recognized It's End:

The Company i.e Adobe has previously recognized in 2012 that Flash will be phased out in next 10 years or so. In it's past successful years, it offers graphical and interactive capabilities and had no equivalent in HTML and Javascript. But later on canvas for 2D graphics, WebGL for 3D graphics, HTML's Video and audio tags, Javascript interface for microphone and webcams removes the need to use flash completely. Adobe said " Around 3 years back 80% of chrome users on desktop visited a website having flash everyday. As per current time, merely 17% of users visits flash websites and this trend is continue to decline in coming years. This fall in trend also gives an indication that people are migrating to open web technologies, which are faster and more powerful than the Flash. They are even safer when you think about online shopping, banking or reading online documents.

Short Support Time:

Facebook has announced that it will migrate it's Flash based games to open standard such as HTML5. Safari browser asks for permission before running Flash content whereas Apple does not come up
with Flash being pre installed in their systems. There will be a patch available for browsers like chrome and Edge and will continue to embed and patch the plugin till 2020.

A lot of games and online documents that uses Flash will become unavailable after 2020 and Adobe has made it clear that it will not support documents that will continue to support Flash even after
2020.
